Rejoicing in the Lord is not merely rejoicing. Rejoicing in the Lord is being thankful to the Lord no matter what. It is trusting the Lord. It is honoring Jesus for what He did for us.

When we rejoice in the Lord, it pleases God, runs off the enemy and empowers the one rejoicing. It is not the premise of this message, that Christians should be joyous at all times but that “rejoicing in the Lord” should be part of our basic Christian lifestyle.

There are certain times we fought depression, oppression but never allow anyone to steal your joy from you. Phil.4:4 says: Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again – rejoice!. (NLT).

Hard times come to everyone, rich or poor, no matter what class, stature or education; no one is immune to hard times in this life. But as Christians, it is this type of mindset that makes the difference and opens the door for God to be able to work in our circumstances.

Rejoice to thank God for all his benefit, as believers The Holy Spirit is in you and He is the generator of joy in you. Rejoice!

Learn to ignore and over look many things, if you truly want happiness your challenges and trial is just for a little while. According to scripture 1 Peter 1:6 (you should) be exceedingly glad on this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trial and temptation. (AMP).

Do you feel sad, depressed, or oppressed? Sometimes choosing to rejoice in the Lord may seem like the most difficult thing but rejoicing in the Lord is the source of your strength. keep rejoicing in the Lord by singing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs everywhere you find yourselves. (Ephesians 5:18-20).

Are you convinced about God accepting your praise or do you still live in sin, probably you’ve backslided. God is calling you today as His child to accept Christ into your life and confess your sins to Him. “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.” (Luke 2:10).
