“As soon as Peter and John were let go, they went to their friends and told them what the high priests and religious leaders had said. Hearing the report, they lifted their voices in a wonderful harmony in prayer:

Do you have people who are in your life as your power circle?
We see from the scripture above that Peter and John returned to their power circle, company, friends, team to share their experience and they encouraged one another by praying together.
You need people in your life that you can run to when feeling down or discouraged, a group of people that you pray together, study together, share the word, fellowship together and share burdens, also a group of people that motivates you to do more and improve yourself.
I listened to pastor Paul Enenche message where he spoke about how they were in the 70’s and 80’ where they asked each other questions like, have you read this book or that book, one will say after I read that book, I prayed for 10 hours and the other will say 10 what, then he will leave them there to go and do 12 hours, until after that prayers, he won’t come out, that was how they charged themselves, that was how they motivated themselves, Kai that was a holy competition, who will finish the Bible first, that was their pattern.
But today many of us don’t have such groups where we challenge ourselves, we are big men and women of God, some might even misunderstand you and say you are trying to compete with them.
I remember there was a time I was lazy in bible study and was only praying, I called a brother and asked him, how many chapters do you read daily, he said 10 in the morning and also some in the night, I was like Jesus I need help, I was immediately motivated and I took my bible study more serious.
The way we were created as human being, sometimes we know the right thing to do but we just need someone else to tell us again so we can take it more serious.
I hope you are blessed.
I see a burning generation
