Scripture Reference: “…So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, I the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “in fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it ……” – 2Kings 7:1-2
There must be an agreement between heaven and earth, for God to accomplish His purpose. Agree with God; place yourself in His able hands. Don’t ask the question, “How shall these things be?” That was the question the father of John the Baptist asked, and he became dumb. He wondered how his wife could give birth, having been barren for so long. That was the question a king asked Prophet Elisha in 2Kings 7:1-2. The prophet prophesied a turn around and the man did not believe. Elisha told him,”…. behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof”. If we must experience His purpose, we must believe His purpose; ‘Believing’ precedes ‘Becoming’.
In my study of biographies of great people like Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther, Winston Churchill, George Washington, etc., I discovered that although these people came from humble backgrounds they made historic marks in life.
