Scripture Reference: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching”. – Hebrews 10:2-25
The acquisition of knowledge is the key to having beautiful relationships. You can be a great accountant and be a bad husband. You can be a wonderful caterer and be a rotting wife. Ignorance is the bane of great relationships. We must admit that we do not know enough about how to manage our relationships. It is disheartening to see people do well professionally only to be crippled in the home-front. We get into marriage assuming that love and passion are enough to run our marriages. Suddenly, things begin to change and many wonder why. Many shed secret tears; others wish they never got married.
I sincerely pray that our discussion in the next few weeks will help build relationships and beyond that, equip us so that we can begin to understand people better.
Daily digest: Relationships get stronger when both are willing to understand our differences.
Prayer: Dear Lord, fill our hearts with love for one another, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Amen
