“And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” – Genesis 18:17-19
Abraham was a friend of God. That became a spiritual vision for me. I don’t want to know about God, I want to know God. You can be a Christian and know next to nothing about God. That’s why a lot of people fall prey to the hands of ‘pastors’ who make merchandise of the Christian faith. When you know God for yourself you will be able to tell what is real and what is fake. Abraham was a friend of God, which has become a personal vision for me.
Many people know about God, only a few know God personally. It is like knowing the principles and not the principal. When you know the principal you can operate the principles better. It all starts with a hunger and a desire. Yours can start today – even now!
When God places a demand on your friendship with Him, it is because He wants to take you to the next level. If you hold on tightly to that thing you have in your hand right now while He is making a demand on it, you may beg for the next one. That test is proof of your friendship. It is also an indication that shows if you are ready for the next level.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I receive the grace to fellowship with you intimately. Help me to set your love as a priority in my heart in Jesus’ name. Amen
