As we journey through life, we will always have various goals set and plans to achieve. And this is very important, as it helps us to determine where to direct our energy to for results.
However, it appears that some people are very good at making plans and setting great goals, but find theirselves achieving little of those goals or sometimes drifting totally away from what was planned. One common factor that can be responsible for this is not putting necessary strategies in place to measure progress.
Measures in this context refers to evaluative actions you take periodically to ensure you are productive with your activties from time to time.
For instance, when we set goals at the beginning of the year, to make it more feasible, we further break the activities into months and then the monthly activities is further broken down into weekly and finally daily.
But it doesn’t just stop there, the same way you broke down the activities to make the goals easily achievable is the same way you must attach a corresponding plan to always evaluate those activities at the close of every unit. That way you will easily discover the lapses and make immediate plan to back up in other to achieve the aim.
To take effective measures in actualising your goals, you have to be sincere, consistent and ready to take swift and corrective actions where necessary.
My dear friend, what differentiates the always-busy-never-getting-results people from the productive ones is their ability to hold theirselves accountable for every actions they take. And I have thought it wise to bring this to your remembrance that it may be reinforced in your heart and give you impetus for action.
I hope my letter met you well. To see you productive always is my utmost desire. Do take good care of yourself.
