RISE – DON’T STAY TOO LONG ON THE GROUND

RISE – DON’T STAY TOO LONG ON THE GROUND

We keep talking about running this race with all patience and endurance. Fighting hard (though from end point that we have won already). Keeping strong.

You know it looks like every gospel broadcast messages you see on Facebook or other social media does not permit you to fall and makes you even feel guilty if you make any mistake.

I have come with this message this morning for someone. Your humanity will always want to brings its head up. At one point in Peter’s life he denied Christ. At one point in time even Christ said “Father let this cup pass over me” which was against the will of the Father though he continued by saying “but nevertheless let thy will be done”.

He did not immediately loose his assignment because he said that. Humanity caught up with him but he quickly regained his stance. Peter after denying Christ did not accept that he not used again besides he was the major Apostle for the Jews. The Bible says “..he went bitterly” (Matthew 26:75).

Know one thing: You can badge into strange dimensions in God but know that you are still in this world where even your phone is an instrument of the devil’s manipulation. Every civilization you think is technology up-gradation are also best tools and platforms for the wicked powers to spread their operations.

With all these strategies of the devil in place. There is probability that you are exposed to falling but there is a good news and it is “for though a righteous man falls seven times, he will rise again, but the wicked stumble into calamity.” (Proverbs 24:16)

The good news is that the righteous man does not remain on the ground. The ground is not his place. He is seated above in the heavenly places with Christ (Ephesians 2:6). That is our place not the ground.

If you at any point in time find yourself in this state go back to God and cry out to Him. Hebrews 4:15 says This High priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin

The Bible continued to say in the next verse “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most”

Hmm! What a relief!
When we fall, we know that we have a High priest that understands so instead of keeping off from him or remaining on the ground reach out boldly to the throne of Grace where mercy is.

“Mercy, grace and strength is always there waiting for you”
