In the book of (Romans 8:26), one can be confident of his salvation in Christ provided he doesn’t pursue the life of the flesh but rather walks after the leading of the spirit whose guidance is effective through the scripture.
John 16:13, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” (NIV).
Ephesians 5:18, “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,” (NIV).
The Greek meaning of intercessor is (huperentugchano) it means a person who comes upon someone who is in trouble and quickly swing into action to rescue such person in trouble. In time of trouble most Christians have the tendency to run to God through prayer. It get to a point where we become wordless, but through the help of the Holy Spirit we Begin to communicate ourselves to God in the manner of the Spirit language.
Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (KJV).
The intercessor make us Holy and blameless before God giving us the privilege to be called sons and daughters of God. He eradicates the fear of the enemy from our souls and embrace us with the spirit of a sound mind hereby we cry Abba father (Romans 8:15).
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” (NIV).
The true nature of the intercessor is to enable us to understand the doctrine of the word through the knowledge of our father. Our eyes of understanding being enlightened, enables us to behold in the glass and see the true reflection of our salvation.
The intercessor in the person of the Holy spirit edifies us and quicken us. Love is His personalty, love is His nature. He bring the reality of the death and resurrection of Christ to us. He purifies us in and out. He is the joy derived in the presence of the Lord that gives us our strength. We become dead to the flesh(sin) and alive to the spirit which is righteousness.
Psalm 16:11, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (KJV).
Note: The intercessor works as our advocate the moment we open up. We become translated to light and understand the hope of our calling in Christ Jesus. Grace, peace us multiplied when we grow in revelation. The solved mystery is then translated to the public in a simple style but with the help of the Holy Spirit.
You can’t have access to the Holy Spirit if you’ve not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. He can’t help you if you don’t know Him, He only help those He knows their identities.
