“Surely my hand founded the earth, And my right hand spread out the heavens; when i call to them, they stand together”
The hand is one of the most important parts of the body. It is so unique that for some activities to be done, the hands need to be involved. The passage above reveals to us the significance of the hand of God during creation, how difficult it will be without hands.
“The hand of God is a tool that God use to reach out to his children and enemies here on earth”.
The hand of God is outstretched, able to reach us wherever we are. God dosen’t need to come down from heaven to attend to things here on earth, his hand does virtually everything. The hand of God performs two functions in a man’s life:
The Positive function and The Negative function
We as children of God need the hand of God to be with us always; for greatness, to be our guide, to lead us. If you study the Bible very well, you find out that those great servants and children of God, before they where able to do exploits, the mighty hand of God needed to be with them.
The hand of God was with Ezekiel that he was able to call back dry bones to life (Ezekiel 37). Tge hand of God was with Joshua that he was given victory ahead (Joshua 1:24). The hand of God was with Joseph that he received favour from God. He went straight from the prison to be a prime minister in Egypt (Genesis 41:41). The hand of God was with Moses that he received boldness to confront the king of Egypt.
No servants of God did great works without the hand of God.
“The basic requirement for upright standing against the devil is the hand of God”
“The hand of God is God’s ability”.
The hand is God’s presence in you that makes you do the impossible. A carrier of the hand of God is a carrier of the presence of God. The hand of God performs great and mighty things,. It’s through this that God led the children of Israel out of Egypt through the red sea to the promised land. The hand of God was with Moses that he received boldness to stand against Pharaoh and his army. He wasn’t afraid. No matter how impossible the situation may be, once the hand of God is present, it will become very possible.
